It’s finally March! We’re inching closer to spring and I feel ready for a new beginning. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel :)

This weekend, I gave myself some much needed pampering because I’ve been feeling the physical symptoms of stress including a sore jaw from clenching my teeth throughout the night, indigestion, and neck pain (sorry, TMI!) I share this because it’s an important reminder that we all carry a mental burden. If we aren’t proactive each day with stress reduction, it can manifest into worse problems. This goes far beyond #self-care and is about really developing self-awareness to take care of the single thing that matters the most - your wellbeing.

Here’s what I read this week:

  1. Hi From Your Childless Friend - This article hit home for me. I am running a different race than everyone around me but it doesn’t mean that I’m behind them or ahead. It’s just a different course. than the one society deemed acceptable.

  2. Be a Lady They Said - An incredibly powerful video. Must. Watch. (Warning - not appropriate for work!)

  3. Forbes Women 50 over 50 - “Guess I can’t be Forbes 30 under 30” I joked last December. I have mixed feelings about the Forbes 30 under 30 list for a number of reasons. I hope this is a genuine effort rather than a marketing gimmick.

  4. Jeff Bezos’ Wealth Using Grains of Rice - This visual representation blew my mind. The creator of the video makes videos on personal finance and might be the reason I join TikTok.

  5. ICYMI: Have you been on an informational interview? This is the first step to changing careers or pivoting.

Have a great week!
