From Our Desk - Sep 29, 2019

Hello friends,

This summer was packed with a cross country move, career exploration, soul-searching, and embracing life’s surprises. It hasn’t been easy but it’s been filled with lots of growth and self-discovery, and for that, I am grateful.

In the coming months, I’ll dive deeper into the lessons I’ve learned this year, as that has always been the mission of this blog but bare with me as I get the last few details sorted.

For now, here are some great reads from my desk:

Joan Brown, “Self-Portrait,” 1977

  1. Questions to Ask Before Giving Up

  2. I’ve watched 190+ women & people of color negotiate. Here’s what I've learned.

  3. How to Think More Highly of Yourself (Especially useful during interview season!)

  4. 6 emails to send every week to make yourself more successful

  5. Female Artists Made Little Progress in Museums Since 2008

Have a great week everyone!
